My First Newborn Photoshoot

I got my first try at capturing a newborn less than 24 hours after birth and I am pretty happy with the end results. For one, it’s great to be able to provide my friend with photos that she’ll be able to show to her little girl years from now. Births are like weddings…It is a unique and special event that should definitely be documented. Second, it was great to be able to practice with limited space and equipment. No special lights or flashes, just a window and the sun. The one thing that I know I need to work on as a photographer is using manual. I still have not been bold enough to do that, but that is my next area of trying to “level up” as a photographer.
