Yes. I love podcast. The obsession started when I got my first desk job entering data from 8am-5pm and music could no longer sustain me. So, I went on a hunt to find a creative outlet that would entertain while I worked. As a result, podcast are a big part of my life. And if you are a millennial, there is a good chance podcast are apart of yours too. Even if they aren’t, here are a few podcast that I think are perfect for entertaining, inspiring and challenging your brain on the daily.
S-Town & Serial
S-Town and Serial are two separate podcast under the umbrella of the “This American Life” production. If you are into true crime, or even documentary style dramas, these two podcasts provide an excellent storytelling technique that will hook you in at first listen.
The Ken Coleman Show
The Ken Coleman Show is the ultimate inspirational distraction for anyone who is seeking to find their way in the wonderful world of work. Life is way too short to spend it doing something that we inevitably hate, just to keep living. This podcast is the excellent source of encouragement for anyone who is seeking the inspiration they need to find the perfect career.
This show right here… Never would I have ever thought that I would find a podcast of inmates telling stories from the inside. If you are curious on what goes down in prison, how certain inmates got to prison and how these prisoners cope, you are in for a most intriguing and entertaining listen.
These are a few of my favorite picks for podcasts. I will update this list as time goes on and I hope you will feel free to take a listen and fuel your mind.
